Couples looking for a cozy getaway
Tessie and her staff went out of their way to. The homemade biscuits were a great treat in the afternoon, and when the internet went down, Tessie didn't hesitate to assist us with our travel plans!
It wasn't exactly cheap.

great central spot for exploring beautiful surrounding islands and parks
during my stay, I was thrilled to find that it was just a short boat ride to South Water Caye and only a little over 2 km from the stunning Twin Cayes, making it easy to explore these natural wonders while enjoying the scenic views along the way.

The atmosphere was quite charming despite the challenges.
Our family stay was disappointing. The accommodations felt run down with mold in the shower and rusted items. We had no options for meals, and the food was barely edible.

absolutely loved the mold in the shower and the rusty decor, truly charming! especially enjoyed the push pedal toilet, a real conversation starter! i almost thought about leaving a good review but i really expected a complimentary upgrade or at least extra fans for my troubles, pity that didn’t happen. what a disappointment!

We had an amazing time snorkeling just 100m off the beach! 🌊 The rooms were simple but comfy. However, the boat transfer fees were really high, which left a bit of a sour taste.

The view was absolutely stunning, a real postcard moment! Jillian was a gem, doing her best to help us with kid-friendly food options. she even arranged our early boat ride back. A real lifesaver!
And then there was the sad excuse for breakfast and lunch, where you were left just picking between tiny portions of pork tacos or overcooked burgers. Not cool.

I loved the delicious homemade biscuits served in the afternoon. They were a delightful treat during our stay. The staff, especially Tessie, really went the extra mile to accommodate meal requests. The food offered was generally very good, and they were flexible with the set menu, which I appreciated. We had access to various books and board games when bad weather hit, keeping us entertained during our stay. However, the weather did impact our plans for snorkeling and boat trips, and it was disappointing to miss out on those experiences. Also, the resort is situated on a very tiny island, which felt limiting at times. Overall, I found the atmosphere quite charming despite the challenges we faced.

Just a balanced option for a quick stopover in Dangriga with fantastic value for money. The host provided extra fans on hot nights, which was a nice touch. Be prepared for hefty transfer costs to the island.
